About This Watch

Brand New! Comes with orig. winding boxes, manual, COSC certificate & undated papers. This is a very unusual Chronographi watch with an interesting layout. The brand has a rich history that dates back to the "Qing Dynasty" when watches (pocket/carriage clocks) were popular with the royalties & wealthy merchants. Bovet produced many expensive and exotic pieces with enamelling, precious materials & stones. They are reviving the good old days!
It's one of the only watch with Chinese characters as numerals on a watch dial of recent times. The last being Tudor and Givenchy (about two decades ago).
Retails S$18800 & has been increased recently.

Movement Mech. auto. movt. Ca. 7750, 28800vph, decorated, blued steel screws, 22K gold rotor (Black anodized & signed in Red!). COSC Chronometer certified

Case Polished Steel case Chronograph in 3 parts. Fixed brushed bezel. Back with see-thru glass secured by screws. Square pushers with signed crown. Centre flexible lugs. Sapphire crystal
Dial Black with Red Chinese characters for hours & logo. 3 Registers with steel rings & dark-blue divisions. "Big" date apertures @ 12 O'clock (Q-set date)
Straps Fitted with orig. Black Calf L/strap with Red stitches & a signed steel deployant buckle
Hands All hands in blued steel. Skeletonised hour & minute hands with a "Serpent" sweep centre seconds hand
