Pre-owned. Comes with orig. red Cartier (lining dried & cracking) boxes, manual & dated paper! 1 owner's watch that's been polished & serviced some time back. It has been worn a few times with only minor surface wear, overall condition=90% very good except a tiny dent on the case band as seen in the pics but it's tiny & can be easily polished off for free.

The Cartier Santos 100 was launched in 2004 on it's 100th anniversary & this is the anniversary model with the back cover engraved with 1904-2004. If you like big watches, good design, reasonable price & good re-sale value, you won't go wrong with this.

Louis Cartier designed the original Santos watch for his friend: Alberto S. Dumont in 1904 & it has been in production since then. Alberto Santos-Dumont was a Brazilian aviator pioneer who lived in Paris & made several flying achievements, airships & planes. He was a friend of Louis Cartier (Founder of Cartier) who made the Santos watch for him. It was the first commercially available wristwatch.
