Pre-owned & mint! Comes with orig. boxes, tyre pressure gauge & manual but no papers. 1 owner's watch & carefully worn since so the watch was in pristine condition when we acquired it recently but the paper is unfortunately lost. This XL sized Mille Miglia chronograph has just been polished to factory specs & overall condition=99% like new now while the rubber strap retains the fragrant vanilla smell.

This Chopard watch is a limited edition chronograph specially issued to commemorate the 2008 Mille Miglia rally and every driver of the 375 selected cars were given one. Each year, the committee receives over a thousand applicants for the endurance rally but only 375 lucky cars were selected so it is a very coveted event. 

Please do not confuse this special model with the regular edition as this is a much rarer & a more coveted model that was launched during the rally in May & given to the participants with the balance released for public. Each watch was factory engraved with "Competitor Edition numbers" on the rim of the back cover that matches the starting car number and in this case, our watch here is number 181 which was a 1951 Allard J2 from Australia driven by Mr G. Fitzgerald who's the owner of this watch. Therefore, this watch is one of 375.

It is a truly rare chance to own a watch that has racing history and this is one of it. We have sold many Mille MIglia watches and this is the only second competitor's personal watch available from us. The last one, a 2010 model was sold for more than S$10K.

This is a sold out model & the back cover has a map of the Mille Miglia road race in metal relief.

Mille Miglia means "1000 miles" in Italian which is the total length of the rally & the official trade mark logo is the red arrow.
