Pre-owned but unused watch. Comes with orig. black lacquered wooden box with a metal plaque+outer box, manual & dated paper. This important watch belongs to a single owner & was part of a large collection that's never worn since purchase so it is good as new now. The watch was purchased new from Cortina Paragon in Singapore. This special limited edition watch was made for the BMW ORACLE Racing Team during the 2007 32nd edition of the America's Cup held in Valencia and named as the GGYC Challenger of Record. Only 750 numbered pieces were made in Steel.

The ww.tc is one of the most popular & successful model by Girard Perregaux launched in 2000. The generous size & functions which features a chronograph, date and world-time makes it a favourite among watch collectors.

Under the anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a large matte black dial, with red writings for GGYC Challenger of Record", luminous baton indexes and arrow hands, three subsidiary dials for the constant second, the 30-minute and 12-hour registers, outer two tone revolving disc graduated for 24h, outermost black disc with city names.

The large brushed and polished stainless steel case with two opposite
screw-down crowns, case back secured by 6 screws and engraved with the "USA76" racing boat, rounded polished bezel, rectangular chronograph pushers.

The world time function permits the simultaneous display of all the planet's time zones on its dial.
