This watch was returned to the factory for a complete overhaul in July 2008 costing Rm6000 or US$1900 with a receipt. It has since been used and watch shows light surface wear only while the photos here are the actual watch. The case is free from dents with just a few light hairline scratches and nothing major. A new strap is recommended although it is sold with an original brown croco which is used.

The Senator Perpetual Calendar is one of the most affordable grand complications that one can find which is a true German made watch with an in-house manufactured movement. The important features are the highly legible window displays showing the complete calendar including their famous Panorama Date feature that shows on a single plane so there's no overlapping discs unlike others. This dial display is far more advanced than the traditional Swiss which uses tiny needles on counters that are often challenging to read.
