About This Watch

Collectible early 20th century American made pocket watch. Illinois is a highly respected firm & is one of the superior watch maker in the United States. However, their fortune went down in the Great Depression in the 1920s & the company was purchased by Hamilton in 1927. This is one of the fine example in beautiful original condition. No major dents or scratches.

Movement Mech. manual winding movt model 6, size 16, 19jewels, S/no 4694308. Demaskeen (etching) plates. Adjusted to 3 positions, bimetallic balance wheel. Gold centre wheel, 18000vph. Signed & numbered.
Dimensions 46mm X 0mm X 12mm
Case Octagonal, made by Fakys, Bristol. Open face. Snap-on back cover & bezel that is highly decorated. Original decorated crown. Acrylic crystal.
Dial White enamelled with a sunken subsidiary seconds. Black Arabic Nos, signature & minute divisions.
Hands Blued steel Cathedral style with a subsidiary seconds hand
