Watch has just been polished to factory specs and is in near mint condition. It was purchased new from Cortina Watch in Singapore with little discount and an extra set of rubber strap with original buckle was purchased so you have a choice of two identites to the watch and it is very easy to inter-change them.

This IWC Engineer or Ingenieur Ref. 3236 is one of the largest made measuring 46mm at it's girth and fitted with an in-house automatic winding movement that features the Pellation winding system. The black dial has a textured surface while red minutes adorns the raised ring on the perimeter with white minute divisions & luminous hour indexes. A handsome watch for the man who wants something of substance & the rubber strap is a fantastic element for all weathers which is particularly practical in our tropical weather. This is a true anti-magnetic wristwatch that can withstand magnetic fields of up to 80,000 amperes per metre. The additional soft-iron inner casing as seen in the picture is there to protect the movement from magnetic influences which contributes to the thickness of the watch.
