Vintage. No box/papers. This is a new old stock, an unused watch that was kept away for the past few decades. It is totally mint as you can see that the original strap has never been worn, case never polished (attracted some patina) & the original JLC hang tag bearing the watch nos is attached to the buckle. The bezel might be a 3rd-party engraving but we can't be sure as the workmanship is superb with consistent craftsmanship throughout especially on the laurel leaves that run on the straights and this calls for the workmanship of a master engraver.

This is a very pretty solid gold watch with a touch of elegance and such delicate details that few modern watches can offer. For just a few thousand dollars now she can be yours to take home; a fraction of what a modern compatriot will cost but above all, one can never find another watch like this anymore and most certainly not in this condition.

This Jaeger will make a splendid gift for someone who appreciates finer things with a history. It would have been a gent's watch in it's days but the medium size will certainly suit women better today.
