A large and unusual Omega Seamaster Chronometer with Day and Date from 1968. This watch has some oxidising creeping through the crevices of the gold shell but it's adding character to it. There's a slight wear of the gold shell showing on the edge @ 9 o'clock due to wear over the decades but it won't rust through, it's just the gold shell thinning out that's all which is common. The polished steel back cover is in mint condition with no took marks and there's virtually no corrosion found on the screw thread which is common area to check for wear but there's none here which is a delight. The watch is completely original down to the thick hexalite crystal that's engraved with the Omega logo Ω underneath it in the center. The light champagne dial with sand finish is mint and just some age showing on the hands.

A nice chronometer grade Seamaster with day and date functions and more importantly, a large 36mm case. This watch has been kept away in our safe for 11yrs hence the oxide forming. Amazingly, this watch is timing so well that she's showing chronometer spec of +6/-5 sec/day now but a complimentary full service is available upon request and watch is sold with 6 months warranty.
