This watch was in our private collection for over a decade, it was manufactured in 1983 and sold on 20th Januray 1984. A masterpiece from Patek Philippe. This 18carat solid yellow gold rectangular watch is fitted with the thinnest mechanical hand winding movement by the company, the Calibre 177. The watch has a diamonds pavé dial set on a plate of solid gold (look at the images below) with quarter hours represented by baguette-cut blue sapphires. Complimenting the dial, the hand-weaved gold bracelet in the form of Herringbone is soft as textile and rows of brilliant-cut diamonds are adorned on it finishing on the buckle.

Patek Philippe commenced production of reference 3777 during the 1980s. Our specimen here fits a 17-17.5cm wrist and can be shorten to fit. A rare and extravagant watch for the wealthiest in the 80s era, this watch would've been the equivalent of an apartment in some trendy city of it's day.

According to the factory archive, there are 233 diamonds totalling 1.68 carats on the watch with a further 28 diamonds totalling 0.44carat. A watch of distinction and completely original. The watch is in splendid condition and the gold hallmarks can be seen clearly on the back cover as shown in the image below while the rear of the buckle is properly stamped. Sapphire glass in perfect condition. It's now available to you for a most attractive price and a replacement cost of this would likely go into six figures in SGD$ today.
