Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes (interior peeling), manual & dated paper in pouch.

This watch was purchased new from Cortina in Indonesia & was serviced by Patek Philippe in Jul 2014 for $1320 with receipt so it has a full history from new & all properly documented.

The Gondolo collection was introduced in 1993 and inspired by the 1920s Art Deco period, featuring a highly stylish design with streamlined features and bold lines.

This Patek Philippe Ref.5124 is a rare model in the pre-owned market as rectangular Patek watches are seldom seen and one with a form movement is highly sought after rather than the usual round movement. This means that the factory had to manufacture an entirely new calibre in rectangular form just to fit into this watch when they can easily fit the round Cal.215 into it but that would be prosaic wouldn't it?

We are of course treated to a glass back on this watch so that we can admire this exquisite movement. The solid gold case and buckle are in splendid condition & free from any dents or major scratches with a perfect glass while the original strap shows light usage only.
