About This Watch

Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes (missing cushion) & an undated paper only, no other accessories. This is an early production RD in it's trademark "Sympathie" case, dial & sapphire crystal (later ones have round dials & glass). It is fitted with a Lemania based movement that's heavily reworked, timed in five positions & finished to Geneva Seal standard. The rear exhihibition glass has the RD logo etched from inside. This is a highly collectible timepiece that can rival Patek Philippe's Ref.3970 as both share the same concept & quality finishing. Both are based on the same movement. In fact, this has a higher complication as it presents the day & date in retrograde style.


Only 28pcs of these were made with this dial in 18KWG. This watch has benefitted from a light polishing to remove oxidising, surface hairlines & is now in almost new condition!
Retails S$150000+. Probably an Out-of-Production & Sold out model.

Movement Mech. manual winding movt. Ca.5632, 25jewels, 21600vph, adjusted to five positions, decorated Cotes de Geneva & Geneva Seal hallmarked. "Observatory" chronometer certified. Signed & numbered.
Dimensions 37mm X 49mm X 12mm
Case 18K White Gold "Sympathie" styled case in 3 parts. Polished bezel with brushed case band. Signed crown with elliptical pushers. Front & back Sapphire crystal. Note that the Sapphire crystal back has the company's logo etched into it!
Dial Silvered with Black signature, Arabic nos & markings. Bi-retrograde Day & Date. Subsidiary seconds & 30mins counters. Moonphases, months & Leap-yr indicators.
Straps Fitted with a non-RD Black Croco L/strap (lightly used) & signed+hallmarked 18KWG buckle.
Hands 18KWG hands with blued steel hands
