Pre-owned. 1 owner's watch complete with orig. boxes, red tag, manual & dated paper in pouch. This ever popular Rolex Explorer 2 with black dial is a late production model from the first owner & comes with all it's goodies.

This is one of the last few batches of the production model bearing "M" series with concealed pin-hole lugs, solid end-links, engraved inner bezel chapter rings & super-luminova dial. Watch is a virgin & never been polished so the bezel is sharp as new while the lugs are fat with original profile. We've just did a quick light buffing to the bracelet so as to remove some very mild surface hairlines & watch is almost good as new now. The most important deal about this watch is the movement. It is fitted with the transition period Cal.3186 instead of the regular Cal.3185. This movement has the Parachrom Bleu hairspring & improved gearing system.

This model has been discontinued & now replaced by the 42mm Ref.216570. In the world of Rolex watches, those that are discontinued becomes collector's items especially for the sports series.
