This is the Rolex Deep Sea, D-Blue dial, a special professional diver's watch launched to commemorate James Cameron’s historic solo dive using the Deep Sea Challenger Submarine. The usual black dial is now a two-tone brilliant blue to a bottomless black which celebrates one man’s journey to the deepest place on earth. A new world record of 35,787 feet or 10,908m was achieved by reaching the bottom of the Mariana Trench on March 26, 2012 and Rolex was there. Please click here to learn more about the conquest.

Single owner's watch from new & purchased from Bucherer in Switzerland, it comes complete with all the bells and whistles. This is a full sized 44mm model which is rated to a depth of 12800ft or 3900m.

This model is very sought after and impossible to find from the official retailers unless a huge premium is offered or on package deal.

At some point some, traders are asking for over S$25K for a new piece.
