The Rolex Yachtmaster Two is a chronograph created specifically for yacht racing. It has a unique countdown feature with mechanical memory which is programmable from 10 minutes to one and this is done by the Ring Command bezel, a patented rotatable bezel that interacts with the watch’s movement. 

The exclusive Cerachrom bezel insert is a ceramic developed by Rolex and introduced in 2005. Together with the monobloc bezel, they have excellent anti-corrosion properties and keep their vibrant colours over time. They are virtually scratchproof, and are unaffected by exposure to sunlight (Harmful Ultra Violet rays) as well as to chlorinated or sea water. A thin layer of yellow gold or platinum is applied onto the engraved numbers and graduations on the ceramic bezel and it takes 40 hours just to produce each Cerachrom bezel.
