About This Watch

Pre-owned & mint. Comes with orig. boxes, manual & dated paper in pouch. 1 owner's watch that's just been polished & good as new. It has some hairline scratches on the bezel insert but not major & a tiny scratch on the glass near 8 o'clock but not major. Otherwise this watch is very good & does not have any serious dents or major wear when presented to us. This model has been discontinued so grab it while the price is reasonable.

We did not change the bezel insert because this watch belongs to the earlier F series which has a rather nice Olive-drab colour unlike the dark forest green now as seen in the picture with two watches. Also, the prints on the dial including the Rolex crown are significantly fatter & more visible than the recent V series as seen. There's discussions on the variations of the dial on the web with some profiteers asking for premiums but we aren't interested & selling this as a regular used watch.

This is a professional diver's watch with 300m water resistant. The 'Green Sub' is made to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner & green is the official color for Rolex. This was an instant "celebrity" & prices soared passed US$9000 @ it's peak. It has now come to a more sensible value, still this is not a common watch with your authorised Rolex dealer & is still very sought after by Rolex fans. A regular steel Submariner Date is sold for more than S$7K these days so this represent quite a bargain now.
