About This Watch

Vintage. This was the top-of-the-line range from the Rolex collection in the 1920-40s. (The price of a rare Platinum piece was equivalent to a passenger car!) This watch is also known as the "Doctor's watch" as the dial is separated into two divisions giving the owner a generous view of the seconds hand dial. Overall condition=80% Good! Case has been re-plated & side bezel is slightly smoothened. Back engraved with "GWH" 30.9.30".
Watch is now in New Zealand for restoration.

Movement	Mech. manual winding movt. with 15 Rubies, Timed 6 posit. Obsevatory Quality. Signed & numbered.
Dimensions	26mm X 42mm X 0mm
Case	Chromed "Hour Glass" styled & curved. Two rows of filigree decorated bezel. Snap-on back. Plastic crystal.
Dial	Restored silver, engraved & black enamelled Arabic numbers, signature & divisions.
Straps	Fitted with a new black Croco L/strap with an orig. signed vintage chromed buckle.
Hands	Blued steel.
