This is a rare Grand Seiko not available from the regular retailers. It is a one owner's watch from new and purchased from Japan. Watch is lightly used and presents in mint condition with just a few light scuff marks on the bracelet while the case is mint as new. The case finishing is known as Zaratsu, a term used for describing the polishing of blades and a highly regarded skill set which is evident when you inspect any Grand Seiko watches.

The Snow flake is named after the dial which has a texture reminiscent of freshly fallen snow.

"It was said to be inspired by the snow laying on the ground outside of the design studio nestled in the hills of Japan. The resultant surface is pure, subtle and gentle in character. The texture of the dial surface has a charming depth and quality that can only be truly appreciated with close association."

Grand Seiko watches are the best effort by the Japanese firm obsessed with perfection and has become an icon of it's own with a strong collector's base. Official retail is 669,600 yen & sold for over S$7K (Rm21K) new so our watch represents a good saving.
