About This Watch

Pre-owned. Comes with a solid wood box with numbered metal plaque (black PVC lining peeling)+outer box, manual, COSC cert & undated authorised paper. One owner's watch who purchased this new from the Tag Heuer boutique in Singapore. This watch is part of a large collection & has only been worn for a few times since.

This chronograph received a full servicing by the agent in Dec 2008 and is sold with a service card.

The watch functions well & the solid rose gold case+buckle are in near flawless condition. The original strap has a light stain on the lining due to age & use but it is otherwise in superb condition.

This Tag Heuer Calibre 360 Rose Gold chronograph was awarded the "Sports Watch of the Year" in 2006 by the GPHG, Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie de Genève, an equivalent to the Oscars of the watch world which is a great honour & achievement for the brand. There is a great amount of attention put into the design and manufacture of this watch. Look at the exquisite dial with fine guilloché decoration & appliqué pink gold Arabic nos in convex shape which reflects light.

This was a very expensive watch in it's day with a retail price of over S$26000, offering little discount & this is watch no.28 out of 500pcs. The later edition "Micrograph" in pink gold with the same movement retailed for US$50K!

Heuer is the synonymous with high accuracy chronographs & this would date back to the early 20th century when they introduced the Mikrograph stopwatch.
