Pre-owned. Comes complete with orig. heavy aluminium box+outer box, tools & dated paper. This is the 2nd model of the very popular U-42 collection. This watch is based on an original design that was submitted to the Italian Navy in 1942 and was conceived by the grandfather of U-Boat founder, Italo Fontana. The first edition was made in very little numbers and retailed for a ground breaking S$59900 making this a lot more affordable, has the same DNA & still in limited series. The bezel measures 54mm across while the body is 53mm.

The features of this watch are the unusual yet simple locking feature on the rotating bezel for divers and it has a unique crown locking system. The watch has signatures with matching serial numbers engraved on nearly every major component, giving it a touch of handmade assembly which is very exclusive and shows pride in their craftsmanship. The impressive box is machined out of block aluminium with a marine inspired pot-hole glass on top for you to admire the watch when placed inside and each is again number matched to the corresponding watch. A very exciting watch to have at a very reasonable price.

Watch is lightly used with minor faint marks and no major dents or scratches that tarnishes it.

It has a very nice double digit nos out of 999 and they were sold with no more than 15% discount back then.
