Pre-owned. Comes with orig. wooden boxes, manual & undated paper in a leather pouch. This is an extremely rare watch from Ulysse Nardin, we have only sold one exact watch about ten years ago & never seen one till now. This desirable example came from a Swiss collector. The Berlin Chronograph is a Rattrapante aka Split-seconds chronograph which is a very complicated stopwatch that not just count time lapses but does it simultaneously for multiple sessions and is usually double the price of a similar stopwatch. This example appears to be seldom used & the strap is good as new. Case has some fine surface hairline scratches that can be easily polished to look new again but we kept it's original condition now. The pearl inserts on the registers are very pretty and can be seen once you move the watch.

 

This watch was created in memory of the 1936 Berlin Olympics when the brand received a gold medal for it's chronographs. One example appeared in the Sep 2004 Antiqurom auction with an estimate of Euro8000-12000. We have however, priced it @ a fraction of it for the discerning collector & it is a rare watch.
