The Omega Bullhead is a cult item of it's own and high on the list of vintage watch collectors. In fact, it is so revered by Omega that they produced a modern day re-edition of it and introduced a variety of dials in limited edition to match but there's nothing like an original flavour and this is the one.

Produced for only two years from 1969 to 1970. It is estimated that only 10,000 pieces of the movement calibre 930 were produced and based on the Lemania Cal.861 (27 CHRO PC) Omega basically turned the movement 90 degree to achieve the bullhead configuration but a whole new case and dial were required along with a specially designed strap to accommodate this new design.

Dating to 1969, this particular example presents in excellent cosmetic condition. The case has never been polished and shows minor surface wear over the 50yrs and is obviously a cherished example. The original dial and hands are in mint condition. Unlocking the back cover reveals a shiny Lemania based Calibre 930 in pink gold gilt while the case seams do not have rust. A good indication of little use.

We don't have the service record but it works seamlessly at the moment and an overhaul will be less than S$1K. It benefits with the original strap while a modern, custom made calf leather from Italy is fitted which matches the champagne dial colour.

This is truly a desirable pedigree vintage Omega not to be missed.
