Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes (interior PVC peeling), manual, doc, tag & dated paper in pouch.

This watch has been with our vendor for over ten years and maintained by Patek Philippe with a recent complete service costing S$2350 with an invoice dated 27 Sep 2016. It is sealed at the service center but we have opened it to take photographs and resealed it again so the watch is sold with the agent's international warranty for one year till Sep 2017.

The watch was originally purchased from the Patek Philippe Boutique in Geneva. The solid yellow gold case has been polished and shows some tiny little dings on the edge of the bezel rim area near the glass between 10-11 o'clock that are impossible to remove but this is a tiny flaw. Otherwise, the watch will benefit with a new strap measuring 21mm at the lugs and 16mm at the buckle and that's all to worry about.

The Ref.5070J is a highly collectible timepiece and a legend in it's own right. Launched in 1998, it was the first new chronograph by the factory for over 40yrs and many collectors hunted for it back then and even more so now. The 42mm case remains one of the largest ever made in the past few decades and thus is very appealing to collectors now. It is also fitted with the Lemania based movement that has been discontinued in the Patek Philippe offers. Here's a good article on this watch by Hodinkee.
