According to the production nos, this rare vintage Rolex GMT Master was built in 1985.

3 July 1985, Back to the Future was first released in American theaters and the wreckage of Titanic was discovered in the north Atlantic.

So where were you in 1985? You can now relive 35 years ago with this GMT Master.

This is a late production model with white gold indexes over a dark black lacquered dial and the tritium has aged to a light khaki colour which makes this watch very attractive. The external Pepsi coloured bezel insert has also faded evenly to a very charming patina. The case is in fantastic condition with minor signs of use and although it has been polished before, the lugs remain thick. It is also free from corrosion with a rather tight bracelet that shows light usage.

This Ref.16750 is the 3rd generation GMT Master & the last with an acrylic crystal. This specimen offers a quick-set date function while the GMT arrow hand simply acts as a 24hr indicator. To view the 2nd time zone, you simply depress the bezel with both of your thumbs then rotate the bezel to your desired time zone.

We are now in the 7th generation GMT Master with the Ref.116710LN.
