A very fine example of German watch making by the house of , A.Lange & Söhne, Deutsche UhrenFabrikation, Glashütte I/SA. The white enamel dial here is in perfect condition with balanced equilibrium in the distribution of signature and markings, featuring beautiful Breguet Arabic numerals in black and the railway track minute divisions on the perimeter while the quarters are distinctly marked with triple dots and a dash.

To set time, use your finger nail to push the tiny metal lever on the edge of the bezel rim @ 4 o'clock to the right then turn the crown to set time. Press the button within the crown to reset the lever and wind the movement. This format of winding and setting is probably unique to Lange as we have not come across any other pocket watches with this simple but effective function.

The bow and crown are original to the watch. The hunter cover springs open with vigour and stays at 90 degree perpendicular to the watch. There are a few small dents visible from the internals of the covers due to passage of time and extensive wear to the guilloché works on the external covers but the case remains in very good condition. There is are three alphabets SKS engraved on the front center of the cover which would've been the initials of an owner. Upon opening the dust-cover (cuvette) you'll be greeted with a very beautiful movement which is the essence of watch making. The images shall speak for itself and the spiral polish on the two silver gears (Main-spring & ratchet wheel) spins when you move the watch which is quite a visual treat. Otherwise, the condition of the frosted finish plates are in nearly perfect condition. The quality of the swan-neck regulator & balance wheel are again stroke of masterpiece. All modern A Lange & Söhne watches take cue from this.

The production numbers date this watch to early 1920s.

We don't often acquire Lange pocket watches and much less a triple signed Hunter-cased example with enamel dial like this. Many of them have 3rd party cases and of lower grade movements so please don't miss this opportunity presented before you.
