Unused watch from new. Comes with one of the largest wooden box ever created that has gold plated metal plaques commemorating the 40th independance of Singapore. Manual, wooden rotating display stand (not working) & dated paper.

This was the first National level special edition watch by the German watch manufacturer and presented to the people of Singapore. The first two pieces in Platinum were given to President S.R. Nathan of Singapore who offered some forewords in the book that accompanies the set.

This watch was launched in 2005 to celebrate the 40th independance of the Republic of Singapore and a total of only 40pcs were made with just 28pieces in Steel & the remaining in other alloys.

After much research by the designers, a mid-1800s Map of Singapore was selected to be hand painted on the Meissen porcelain dial while the "1845 Klassik" case was given to house it with their hand-wind Calibre 49 movement.

This watch was acquired new from the authorised dealer and never worn since. It has some handling hairlines on the polished steel case and never worn nor polished.

The quality of the movementⁱ is simply breathtaking. The balanceⁱ cork is hand-decorated & has a fine swan-neck regulator while it is a 3/4 plate manual winding movement that is finished to a very fine standard.
