About This Watch

Pre-owned. Comes with orig. boxes(current style) & service papers in a champagne JLC folder but no manual (photocopy will be given).

This JLC Geographic received a complete restoration with the JLC service centre in Hong Kong costing a total of HKD17350 (S$2800 or US$2250) in Dec 2013 with receipt & is under JLC one year international warranty till Dec 2014.

Watch is good as new now. The complete dial set & crowns were replaced during the service and case+ buckle polished to perfection.

This is an early Geographic, Géographique (French) first introduced in 1990 & available till the late '90s with an older style but more elegant case known as the Odysseus collection. Most sellers have listed this online as a Master Control series which is a mistake as the 1000hrs control standard was not introduced back then & it is most certainly not a Master collection. It is becoming rare in the pre-owned market now and a solid gold piece is always desirable especially in this tantalising pink shade. Look at the fine blued steel needles set against a sunburst silvered dial while the solid gold back has hand-engraved serial numbers which shows a more intimate & personal touch. The dial is very easy to read and complications rather simple to use. A great companion for the frequent traveller who appreciates fine timepieces. This watch is the 173rd made, a very low production number in contrast to the tens of thousands being made today.

A current model with the same concept retails for US$24600.

"No secret, the Géographique's movement is a mechanical masterpiece, through and through" Page 99 of JLC 1993/4 catalogue.

Further 3% discount for cash payment & no GST. This watch comes with recently added S$2800 value to it plus an agent warranty so your investment is assured.
