Pre-owned. Comes with complete boxes, manual & dated paper. This Reverso Grande Ultra Thin Tribute to 1931 is the most iconic model from the manufacturer which traces it's heritage to the original 1931 version. The evocative Art Deco lines makes it a timeless beauty and the mechanical wind-up movement provides a more intimate relationship with the watch. This is an unusual production and the first time in modern history that Jaeger LeCoultre did not sign it's company name on the dial and it is simply signed as the model name, a bold & unprecedented move by any watch manufacturers which shows the success and confidence of the Reverso.

The watch has just been polished to factory specs & is good as new now. The original matt black alligator strap is in very good condition but a pity the under-lining has become quite worn but it will still last quite a while. It takes a 20x18mm strap which is a common size easily available in the after-market. This model was subjected to the stringent 1000hrs testing before being released to public by the factory.

This Reverso is a one owner's watch purchased new from Cortina Watch PL in Singapore and is offered on sale for the first time.

This is a premium model & the owner paid S$8600 after a good 25% discount & the orig. tax invoice accompanies this watch.

The Reverso is one of the true icons of luxury watchmaking. The legendary reversible face was invented in the 1930s for polo players who wanted to protect the crystals of their watches while enjoying the game and so the Reverso was born. Rectangular watches were De Rigueur in the Art Deco period which has clearly influenced the design of this watch and it remains very fashionable today.
