This vintage CK2849 Omega Seamaster automatic with date was in production between 1956 to 1962 and our specimen here dates back to 1959. The watch had been carefully restored a while back with a lightly polished case and a professionally restored dial+hands. In fact, the quality of the restoration is so good on this dial that most dealers will list this watch with an original & mint dial. It does look very good no doubt & doesn't affect the value of the watch much. She has the large relief of the Hippocampus logo on the pan-shaped back cover.

A nice example with the thick lugs and an original steel buckle worth US$150 is fitted to this watch.
