About This Watch

Pre-owned but near mint. Comes with orig. wooden box+outer box, missing screwdriver, spare brown calf L/strap (lightly used), COSC cert & undated paper. This is a long time collector owner's watch that we have acquired & kept away in our private collection since 2010 & never used since except being wound up occasionally. A lightly used dark brown Italian leather strap with over-sized steel buckle is fitted to the watch & we'll be giving away one strap from our Passions PAM straps for free (choice of thirteen). It takes about 45 rounds on the crown to fully wind-up the watch.

This is an extremely rare B series Pam004 from 1999 in black PVD case with "L" dial. It is a chronometer spec model and highly sought after by collectors worldwide. Only 3000pcs were made for this final series model. A lot of these early Panerais left the authorised retailers with unstamped paperworks, a common practise to pro-long the warranty by retailers in those days.

This watch received a complete overhaul by the factory in late Sept 2010. The entire black PVD case was re-coated by the factory, new dial+hands set, new crystal, new gaskets & movement serviced. The total bill came to S$2170 & the invoice accompanies the sale. A brand new black PVD buckle has just been purchased from the Panerai boutique costing S$260 & added to this watch with the sale. The watch has never been worn since the complete refurbishment by Panerai.

Watch is virtually new except remnants of old tiny dents on the edge of the shoulder guard @ 2 o'clock & 7 o'clock but a fresh black coating has been applied so there's no "silvering" from the edges of the case.

Pam004 was only made in Pre-A, A & final B series.
