Vintage. Comes with an original Rolex box set (late 1990s) but the most important goodies are the original period manual & dated paper+registration document in pouch. 

This collectible Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Chronometer is from our vault and kept away for ten years. It comes with the precious and original dated certificate stamped by Eastern Watch Jewellery Co in Singapore (this address is less than 400m from our Fullerton gallery now). The retailer exists today along Orchard road and the proprietors are our fellow trader.

This Ref.1550 comes from the 1500 series & is one size below the gents 36mm Datejust. Our watch here has a 14 carat yellow gold shell which is a thick layer of gold wrapped over the base steel case and offers clients the look of a solid gold watch at a much reduced price. The gold case is in very good condition without any wear on the edges & free from any dents or major faults. There are little to no rust on the back of the case.

These Rolex Oysters were built to last more than a lifetime as long as you take care of them and we would expect it to pass through your family as well. It has an acrylic crystal that can be polished when light scratches find their way or replaced for cheap vs a sapphire crystal. There is no quick-set date so you'd need to adjust the time over 24hrs to change the date and although they were built to 100m water resistance we would advise you to keep it away from any moisture including washing of hands. The case is in very good condition as seen in our pictures here and has a wonderful in-house manufacture movement that still shines.
