Sold new by The Hour Glass in Singapore over two decades ago. This Blancpain Rennaisance is absolutely stunning in looks & represents a pinnacle in watchmaking craftsmanship. Like a pocket watch, the solid gold watch has a hinged back cover that swings open to reveal a glass back that houses a breathtaking automatic movement with a skeletonised gold rotor and hand-engraved movement plate to the finest level. Even the anglage (edge of the plates) is engraved.

This watch was produced in limited numbers and each individually numbered. It features a pearl dial that's crafted to radiate like sunray from the moonphase indicator while the calendar is in French. It is further fitted with an original 18ct gold bracelet that adds weight to the watch and you may replace it with a strap as well. A very ornate watch deserving of it's name and nothing like this available now for this price.

This watch weighs 180gm and is short on links. It will only fit a 16cm or smaller wrists while the links can be ordered from Blancpain or simply custom made by jewellers.
