Watch has just been very lightly polished to remove surface wear and overall condition=99% like new with no dents nor major scratches and can be improved with a full polish later. Hence the profile of the case is preserved with sharp beveled edges and the gold medallion on the back was untouched which remains sharp and crisp. Evidence of very light use by the owner even though this watch is over a decade old but we love it for the condition. The only flaw is the paint on the edge of the strap is flaking away due to rubbing by the buckle but this can be re-painted by a strap-maker later or you may simply change for a new strap for hygiene purposes.

The Master Compressor Geographic has been discontinued and was one of the most popular JLC model as it offers a world time function with AM/PM displays. Every Master collection watch goes through a stringent 1000hrs testing before they are released for public sales.

The crowns are equipped with an external butterfly collar that turns 1/2 turn clock-wise & counter clock-wise (independently of the crown), each collar has red & white enamel indicating arrows. The white arrow tells you that the crown is secure/water resistant while the Red arrow indicates that the crown is non-secure/non-water resistant. When the collar is in the secured position it compresses a gasket that ensures water resistance.
