A lovely vintage Longines from late 1950s in a fairly large 35mm case with extended Bombé lugs and screw-lock back. The original dial has aged to a very charming patina with full Arabic numerals in gold and small seconds. Case is in very good condition and what we really like is the 20mm lugs width that are unusually large for it's time to take larger straps that is a very desirable feature now. Most watches of the period were only 18mm and under.

The movement for this watch is a Calibre 30L that was produced between 1955 to 1967. It was developed into a few variants and was the core movement for Longines for over a decade and presents fresh as mint here as you can see which is amazing for a sixty years old watch. Again, case is excellent and free from corrosion.

This watch ticks all the boxes for a vintage watch. The size, patina, pedigree and condition. Vintage Longines are very desirable and command top prices especially for the aviator models, military and chronographs that can fetch 6 figures.
