About This Watch

Vintage. No box/papers.

A connoisseur's vintage watch measuring 38mm at the width with 20mm lug size which is huge for a pre-war wrist watch as men wear small 30mm watches back then so this was considered a jumbo and usually sold to aviators or military. This watch is fitted with none other than the highly cherished Calibre 33.3, one of the most coveted chronograph movement other than the modern day Speedmaster 321.

This watch is in splendid condition throughout for it's age. The steel case is in incredible condition for it's age with good lugs and no signs of heavy abuse, it's bezel and back cover snap tightly with little signs of corrosion while the dial and hands are original with light patina. A great example for a watch that survived WW2 and many other devastating events that shaped our world since. This example has a single oval button for start & stop while the restart button nests within the setting crown which is a complex manufacture by itself. All functions work with vigour and keeps time. A nice dark brown alligator strap is fitted along with a later but vintage steel Omega buckle. (There are no Omega signed buckles in pre-war era)

These models do not come cheap as they are not your garden variety chronographs and commands top dollars with black gilt dials fetching well over US$20K and single button like this, is rarer.

Further 3% discount for cash payment.
