This is the original RXW Marina Militare in 47mm made for & sold by Ken Trading based in Japan more than a decade ago and received many positive feedbacks. Production numbers were limited and sold out quickly after launch as they were priced at a fraction from Panerai's similar offering of the Pam00127.

Officine Panerai wasn't pleased and sent an injunction to stop them from selling this soon after which created an even stronger interest for these watches. In fact, enthusiasts consider this RXW MM20 as a more faithful reproduction of the vintage piece as story has it that Ken Sato, proprietor of Ken Trading had a few pieces of the vintage Panerai and produced them to almost exact details such as the thick solid steel back cover and the thick steel buckle. Our watch here is an early piece that was kept away for many years.

The brown strap was made from UK's Connolly leather that once lined the interiors of Ferraris & Rolls Royces while the supple black strap is from horse hide.

This watch is in mint condition & kept away in a vault. The black strap has never been used while the brown strap shows a stretch mark as the watch was buckled around the cushion. Watch takes about 32 winds to full and works as it should. It was rated to 100m & anti-magnetic to 1000gauss.

A collector's item in it's own right.
